Summer reading

Summer reading

I just started reading House of Leaves, and I’ll most likely write a review in the next couple of weeks. I’m looking to add more books to my list if I can keep up this pace. Infinite Jest could be tougher than I expect though. We’ll see how it goes.

Infinite Jest is a tough one, not only because it’s over a grand in pages. It’s heavy. In college, a few of the people in my class joked that it was titled Infinite Jest not so much as an allusion to Hamlet but because if you were reading it, it seemed to last forever and the joke was on you for trying to get through it all.
And Douglas Adams? Great writer, great thinker, great human being.

Yeah i’m looking forward to reading Infinite Jest, and everyone I’ve talked to recommends that you read it in your 20s for some reason. I figured the summer would be the best time for me to read it since I don’t have as many distractions. Anyways thanks for your input :)
